Notice of Intent: Completion of Magnetotelluric Array in CONUS: Notice of Intent to award a cooperative agreement to Oregon State University (OSU) in support of the project entitled "Completion of Magnetotelluric Array in CONUS". The main objective of this project is to complete the remaining deployment of MT Array instruments across the southwestern and south-central United States, estimating 150 new sites. Data will be collected and assessed for quality at all newly installed locations to ensure that cultural noise is not overwhelming. Oregon State University is uniquely qualified to carry out the completion of the MT Array as described in their proposal because they have already completed the northern half of the MT Array through a series of past subawards from Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS), the prime awardee of the NSF and NASA funding.
