Notice of Intent - Resource Interpration Interns: This program employs interns to learn about the NPS and natural and cultural environments of Gateway NRA through a variety of activities and exposure to NPS professionals across the park’s divisions. The interns are given extensive on-the-job , informal and formal through which they learn about NPS conservation careers and public speaking skills and interpretive techniques which they then by leading programs for the public. The 30 week program encourages the interns to practice and teach the mission of stewardship and creates lifelong ambassadors for the NPS.
