Under the Rehabilitation Act, the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) Commissioner is authorized to make grants to, and enter into contracts with States and public or nonprofit agencies and organizations (including institutions of higher education (IHEs)) to support projects that assist state and other agencies in providing VR and other services to individuals with disabilities to maximize their employment, independence, and integration into the community and the competitive labor market, and provide training and technical assistance designed to assist in increasing the numbers of, and upgrading the skills of, qualified personnel (especially rehabilitation counselors) who are trained in providing VR services as well as other services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act.Assistance Listing Number: 84.264L
