Provide GIS mapping through graduate students to add attributes to current maps.: Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge seeks to revise U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Biological Report 88(36), "Tamaulipan brushland of the Lower Rio Grande Valley of South Texas: description, human impacts, and management options" and update management recommendations relative to changes in native brushland habitats since 1988, particularly as they relate to human impacts on native fauna and flora. Additional funding is being awarded to include period of performance extension of two years to provide GIS mapping expertise through graduate students to improve the Lower Rio Grande Valley NWR tract maps with attributes. The Lower Rio Grande Valley NWR provides guidance to and works in close coordination with Oklahoma Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit throughout the term of the cooperative agreement.
