Request for Information on Request for Information on Carbon Transport Research, Development and Demonstration Consortium: In this Request for Information, Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM); U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), seeks public comment on its Request for Information number DE-FOA-0003330 to obtain public input about a potential Carbon Transport Research, Development & Demonstration (RD&D) Consortium to be managed by Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) in partnership with the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). This consortium is intended to identify and coordinate initiatives for carbon transport RD&D efforts (e.g., pipeline, rail, truck, ship, and barge transportation); facilitate communication among stakeholders; and compile and curate information in an open access platform. This is a Request for Information only. The U.S. Department of Energy will not pay for information provided under this Request for Information and no project will be supported as a result of this Request for Information. This Request for Information is not accepting applications for financial assistance or financial incentives. The U.S. Department of Energy may or may not issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement based on consideration of the input received from this Request for Information.
