OVERVIEW

The main goal of this project is to develop a loop trail along the Chilkoot Trail in the Historic Canyon City town site. A majority of the work to be done involves reshaping tread and moving gravel. The trail work involves both maintenance and new construction. The corridor has been cut, however all of the tread material needs to be moved into place and a tread profile established. The work site is 8 miles from the Chilkoot trailhead and considered remote.
