Role of Sleep and Sleep-Disordered Breathing in Metabolic Syndrome: The goal of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to elucidate the relationship of sleep deprivation and sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) to characteristics of the metabolic syndrome including obesity, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, and vascular inflammation.
