The purpose of this program is to stimulate multidisciplinary, collaborative research that is focused on developing tools and strategies for prevention and control of STIs and diseases. The goal of this initiative is to emphasize research aiding in the development of vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics and behavioral and social interventions.
