SRLCC- State of New Mexico Geospatial Data Management, Information Sharing and Preparation for decision Support System Development: This synopsis is the full announcement. The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: Provide oversight of the project - this will involve collaboration through an in-house GIS technical team on the technical side as well as with WGA concerning western states protocols, collective needs of DSSs and general development considerations, participating in monthly phone conferences, etc. Update and standardize much of the GIS data that will be centralized for this effort. The GIS technical team will also participate in developing the organizational structure in which the data will be housed (e.g., centralized geodatabase development). Attend and participate in meetings held by WGA and SRLCC to coordinate with other states' pilot efforts, exchange ideas and to develop standards and protocols for data sharing and inter-state data flow, particularly with Colorado. Share information about this project with Colorado through mutually beneficial cooperation towards an integrated data management system. Develop and share methods, protocols, and spatial analysis tools. Engage with the Southern Rockies LCC participating in meetings, phone conferences and other mutually agreed upon settings. Attend and participate in meetings to coordinate with other landscape-scaled efforts, exchange ideas and to develop standards and protocols for information sharing and inter-state information flow. Share information about landscape projects partners through mutually beneficial cooperation towards an integrated information system. This agreement is being awarded under the following authority: Section 2 of Reorganization Plan No. 3 of 1950 (64 Stat. 1262) as amended. The project was competed through the Southern Rockies Landscape Conservation Cooperatives program.
