SUID/SIDS Prevention and Bereavement Support Resource Centers: The purpose of the Sudden and Unexpected Infant Death/Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SUID/SIDS) Cooperative Agreement Program is to meet the needs of families and others that are impacted by the tragedy of (SIDS/ID) and provide a mechanism for communication and collaboration among the State SIDS/ID programs, associated groups, organizations, and Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) staff to assure improved infant health status through improved health care systems.
