San Francisco Bay Area Water Quality Improvement Fund (FY 2011 Funds): EPA has been administering the San Francisco Bay Water Quality Improvement Fund (SFBWQIF), a competitive grant program for the protection and restoration of San Francisco Bay watersheds, since 2008. To date, EPA has awarded over $22 million in ten grants supporting 38 projects, matching and leveraging over $40 million, and involving 53 partners.
