Spindle City Corps Trades Skills Team 2017-2018: The Trades Skills Program is a school year youth program for students studying the trades such as electrician, painting and carpentry. The Trades Skills program is part of the Spindle City Corps (SCC) youth program supported by CTI, a long-standing partner in the Northeast region uniquely qualified to produce programs related to the Lowell community. The CTI is a non-profit community organization that was formed in 1965 to assist low-income people to become self-sufficient, to alleviate the effects of poverty, and to assist low-income people to participate in the decisions that affect their lives; and serves as one of the leaders in the cityâ¿¿s youth partnership.
