Spruce Mountain and Marking Corrals Joint Fire Sciences Research Project: This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The Spruce Mountain and Marking Corral's Joint Fire Sciences Research Project is a continuation of project with the Eastern Nevada Landscape Coalition which includes the conducting of scientific analyses and mechanical treatments and related work in sagebrush ecological sites which are encroached with Pinyon and/or Juniper.
