A “local partner” may be an individual or sole proprietorship or a legal entity of any type except for governmental organizations.To be considered an eligible local partner for the purposes of this NFO, the applicant must:1. Be organized under the laws of South Africa;2. Has its principal place of business in South Africa;3. Is majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of South Africa or be managed by a governing body, the majority of whom are citizens or lawful permanent residents of South Africa; and4. Must not be controlled by a foreign entity or an individual or individuals who are not citizens or permanent residents of South Africa.
