Study of Smart Growth Policies That Spur Brownfields Redevelopment, Request for Initial Proposals (RFIP): EPA is seeking proposals to conduct a study of proven smart growth approaches for redeveloping brownfields. The study must capitalize on existing resources and materials and require minimal original research. The successful applicant, using the results of the study, will create an 18-20 page publication describing how smart growth can create a supportive environment for, and has resulted in, brownfields redevelopment - with an emphasis on the practical (e.g., specific policies, implementation tips, and case studies).
