TechCamp Kosovo: Countering Disinformation in the Balkans: The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a regional TechCamp program in Kosovo. Briefly, it consists of a three-day workshop in Peja from 19-21 November, 2020, and a number of follow-on activities. TechCamp Kosovo will increase public confidence in the free press and in democratic institutions by helping participants better detect and fight against false news, disinformation, and associated threats such as fake accounts. The camp will aid participants in countering disinformation on public platforms by providing them with practical knowledge, skills, and tools that can be used immediately in their everyday jobs. TechCamp Kosovo is a regional event for participants from Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.
