UNVIE Space Camp 2020 Youth Exchange: The U.S. Mission to International Organizations in Vienna (UNVIE) invites eligible organizations to submit proposals to implement a youth exchange program to promote U.S. leadership in outer space and build closer relationships between the United States and the peoples of participating countries. The youth exchange shall send 12 young leaders (ages 15-18 at the time of the program) and two chaperones from Brazil, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Senegal (two youth from each country) to Washington, DC for space-themed programming and to the Advanced Space Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama July 22-August 1, 2020. Selection of the participants will be done in close collaboration with U.S. embassies in the participating countries. The program will highlight U.S. support for STE(A)M education and expose the participants to American culture through science and cultural exchange. Proposals should also include plans for traditional and digital media coverage of the participants and their experiences in the United States, as agreed upon by the U.S. embassies in the participating countries.
