Volunteer Coordinator Interns: THIS FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATION. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, INTENTION TO FUND THE FOLLOWING PROJECT ACTIVITIES WITHOUT FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The U.S. Department of Interior, National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park, Ashford, WA intends to make a single source award to the Student Conservation Association, 689 River Road, Charleston, New Hampshire 03603. This is a noncompetitive award in accordance with Department of Interior Policy, Departmental Manual 505DM22 based upon Unique Qualifications and Cost Sharing. The Student Conservation Association is uniquely qualified to perform the activity based upon demonstration factors, specifically, location, voluntary support capacity, cost sharing ability, technical expertise, and other unique qualifications as outlined in this document. The National Park Service, Mount Rainier National Park, intends to award a six month Task Agreement against the umbrella Cooperative Agreement H2495090023 MOD 1.
