Water Conservation Program: The Bureau of Reclamation is requesting proposals for soil and moisture conservation. This funding opportunity will provide assistance in developing effective water management and conservation plans; encourage and promote implementation of water efficiency measures; demonstrate conservation technologies; and promote and support water education in the Yuma area. Total Federal assistance available is $90,000. Award of between 2 and 3 cooperative grant agreements will be made, generally not to exceed $50,000 per agreement. Cooperative agreements will be awarded to responsive, responsible and eligible recipients and will be based on technical merit at the fixed assistance amount. Clarification to eligibility: Water User Entities is any individual, district, association, Government agency, or other entity that uses or contracts for water supplied from a Reclamation project.
