Weed and Erosion Control Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station: The purpose of this Agreement is to provide services (labor and technical expertise) to conduct weed and erosion control on 287 acres of land at Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station (NOFS). Under this Agreement, the Cooperator will provide personnel for up to six (6) weeks (non-consecutive) to treat exotic pest plant species, erosion control activities, and transportation. Weed and erosion control to reduce catastrophic wildfires and protect Mexican Spotted Owl habitat are identified as necessary activities for forest management in the Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) for NOFS.
