Winter Habitat and Survival as Potential Limiting Factors for Arctic Grayling in Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge: This is a Notice of Intent to award a Single Source Cooperative agreement to Wyatt Cross for the purpose of managing for habitat and invertebrate prey items in order to maximize food resources for insectivorous bird, mammal, and fish Species The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: 1) to assess the effects of management and climate on habitat and invertebrate communities across time and space, and 2) to determine how these effects impact species that consume insects for reproduction or survival. This work will start to address effective resource management practices so the Refuge can achieve its goals for different habitats described in the Comprehensive Conservation Plan.
