Winter Study of Wolf-Moose Population - ISRO: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO PROVIDE FUNDING THROUGH A TASK AGREEMENT UNDER A MASTER AGREEMENT.

The Midwest Regional Office of the National Park Service intends to provide funds to Michigan Technological University to work cooperatively with Isle Royale National Park to: A) Monitor the park's wolf population. B) Monitor the park's moose population, and, C) Determine rate of predation on moose as a key indicator of the health of the wolf population. The scientific community and/or researchers external to NPS gains by new knowledge provided through research and related results dissemination of natural, cultural and/or historical resource information.
