Working Conditions & Health Survey in Central America: This is a Notice of Intent only. USDOL Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) intends to provide funding for a cooperative agreement with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health to conduct a nationally representative survey on the prevalence, nature, and possible effects of working conditions and work-related health issues in Central America. This project will include quantitative data collection using an existing proprietary survey instrument that has been tested and implemented in Central America; in-field qualitative research; and preparation and dissemination of reports based on the data collected.
