2016 Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program: The Bureau of Human Resources, Office of Recruitment, Examination and Employment (HR/REE), of the US Department of State announces an open competition for one assistance award to conduct all programmatic, financial and administrative activities for the 2016 Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship Program. This program is one of the Department of State’s premiere diversity recruitment programs and fundamental to increasing the representation of diverse groups in the U.S. Foreign Service. Women, members of minority groups historically underrepresented in the Foreign Service, and students with financial need are strongly encouraged to apply.
