Adaptive Science - Central Michigan University: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Midwest Region, is providing a single source grant agreement without competition to Central Michigan University to extend the Coastal Wetland Decision Support Tool (CWDST) to wetlands along the Wisconsin and Minnesota shoreline of Lake Superior and to add user guidance and other enhancements to the CWDST user interface. Researchers at Central Michigan University and their partners at Northland College and Limnotech are uniquely qualified to do this work because they maintain the database the CWDST is based on and they developed the current version of the CWDST. Their intimate knowledge of the data, the CWDST users, and previous tool development make them uniquely qualified to complete the necessary work.
