Grant Description
The Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming State Office internds to award a cooperative agreement with Minot State University to facilitate the exchange of cultural resource data and information to include: rock outcrops and geological formations where rock art localities are likely to be located; survey, inventory and mapping of rock art localities and provide this information to the Wyoming Cultural Records Information System (WYCRIS). This information will be used in developing up-to-date databases and baseline information to be available for future use by researchers and law enforcement. The project is a BLM requirement and reports of each year's activities and findings are required.
