Coastal And Water Management Resources: The broad goal of the Coastal/Fisheries and IWRM Agreements is to improve the sustainable use and conservation of coastal ecosystems, fisheries, and freshwater and related aquatic resources in river basins and adjacent coastal ecosystems in developing countries through the application of integrated coastal management, sustainable fisheries and aquaculture management, and/or integrated water resources management principles. It is also our goal to advance the economic and social well being of the people within targeted areas in a manner that ensures the ecological and economic diversity, productivity, and sustainability of the targeted area.
