Comparative Interdisciplinary Studies of Cerebral Cortical Development (R21/R33): -Purpose. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), issued by the National Institute on Mental Health (NIMH), solicits Exploratory/Developmental Phased Innovation (R21/R33) grant applications from institutions/organizations that propose to study the development of the cerebral cortex and associated structures in humans or other mammalian model systems across three axes: time, species, and discipline.
