Countering Hostile State Influences: The Embassy of the United States in London invites eligible organizations to submit proposals to develop and implement a series of three (3) exchange visits to the United States in calendar year (CY) 2021, followed by a series of post-visit program impact amplification workshops/activities in the UK, for three cohorts of UK stakeholders exploring various aspects of U.S. federal, state, local, and civil society responses and strategies to counter the growing influence of hostile state actors in the U.S. and around the world. Strictly subject to the availability of funds, the Embassy of the United States in London expects to select one program implementer for a grant award up to USD $250,000.00. Travel under this grant will be subject to any COVID-related pandemic travel restrictions or mandatory quarantines.The implementing partner will be responsible for handling all program logistics, including international and domestic travel, lodgings, and ground transportation costs, as well as a full agenda of engagements with relevant U.S. organizations.Participants will engage with U.S. federal, state, local government officials, military officials, as well as industry, academic/research and other civil society representatives in the United States, to learn about U.S. approaches and share best practices from both sides of the Atlantic that can help the United States and United Kingdom more effectively counter the malign influence of hostile state actors.
