Crowley Creek Restoration: The Service will provide $10,000 to conduct restoration of degraded Lahontan Cutthroat Trout habitat with the following tasks: 1. Provide four-person stream survey crew and transportation to and from the worksite for two weeks to conduct restoration of Lahontan Cutthroat Trout habitat. 2. Purchase equipment needed for conducting restoration work. 3. Remove beaver dams that are currently impounding water and sediment and preventing migration of Lahontan Cutthroat Trout along an approximately 1.5-mile stretch of lower Crowley Creek. Over time, this work is expected to result in narrowing of the creek channel, facilitation of native riparian vegetation growth, and improvement of water quality.
