Developing the Next Generation of Female Environmentalists: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Mission to Pakistan is pleased to announce an open competition for grant proposals, contingent on funding availability, through the Public Diplomacy Grants Program. Under this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), PAS seeks proposals to establish a partnership between U.S. and Pakistani universities to build Pakistani capacity, to adapt to and mitigate climate change, and to ensure gender parity for women in environmental sciences in Pakistan. The partnership will facilitate curriculum development, collaborative research, virtual exchanges, sharing of resources, professional development, and exchanges. The selected applicant and its proposed sub-partners must be a legally recognized non-profit and non-governmental organization(s), that meet U.S. and Pakistan technical and legal requirements to develop and implement public diplomacy programs as specified in Section C.
