Elevating Women Science and Technology Entrepreneurs and Women-Focused Startups in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Member Economies: To support U.S. economic security priorities, including those identified in the National Strategy on Gender Equity and Equality via the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) initiative. GIST is a program that strengthens the capacity of young science and technology innovators and entrepreneurs in low- and middle-income countries and the innovation ecosystems in which they operate. GIST priority countries for this award include: Chile; Indonesia; Malaysia; Mexico; Papua New Guinea; Peru; Philippines; Thailand; Vietnam.
