Face Forward 3-Intermediary and Community Grants: The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) plans to award four intermediary organization grants of $5 million each and approximately 10 community organization grants of up to $1,050,000 million each, totaling approximately $30,500,000 million, to provide services to youth between the ages of 14 to 24 that have been involved in the JJS and never convicted in the adult criminal system. Applicants may only submit one application in response to this solicitation. Applicants must choose between submitting an intermediary or community grant application.
Intermediary grantees must competitively select after grant award local sub-grantees to operate the program in a minimum of three communities in at least two states, with a priority to serving target areas in high-poverty, high-crime areas. Applicants submitting intermediary grants applications must have the capacity to implement multi-site, multi-state projects.
