Only credit unions that have received a low-income designation from the NCUA or from the state supervisory authority, with NCUA concurrence, are eligible.

- The Financial Education Grant Initiative provides funds to eligible credit unions to work in collaboration with other community organizations, financial institutions, and others to improve the financial literacy levels of credit union members and surrounding community members.
