Grant Description
This is a set-aside for Tribal Colleges and Universities. The DoD announces the availability of the FY 2004 Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Instrumentation Program for Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). This program aims to enhance science, mathematics, and/or engineering education programs and/or research capabilities through the acquisition of equipment and/or instrumentation that will augment existing facilities, enhance curricula, or develop new laboratories, programs and capabilities in areas related to science, mathematics, and/or engineering. Eligible applicants are only those Tribal Colleges and Universities named in the U.S. Department of Education Accredited Postsecondary Minority Institutions list. This list is available at http://www.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/edlite-minorityinst.html. Only one proposal per institution will be accepted. DoD funds will be awarded via grants through the Army Research Office (ARO) based on this announcement. The BAA will contain additional information along with instructions for proposal preparation and submission.
