Mokelumne River Riparian Diversion Project: The funding opportunity is to modify and/or screen the three highest priority diversions on the Lower Mokelumne River (having landowner support) with appropriate materials. Costs may include project design, construction, fish screens, pumps, cleaning systems, and site-work. In-kind support will be provided by EBMUD to prepare environmental documentation and permitting for the projects, and conduct pre and post-project monitoring. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 8 intends to award single source financial assistance as authorized by 505 DM 2.14 (B) to the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), as an unsolicited proposal that represents a unique approach, and because of EBMUDâ¿¿s unique qualifications in providing a substantial cost-sharing ability.
