NIDCD Research Career Transition Award for Nurturing Clinician-Investigators (K22): The purpose of the NIDCD Research Career Transition Award for Nurturing Clinician-Investigators (K22) is to facilitate and support the early-stage research career development of new and recently appointed clinician faculty members with limited research training and experience who seek to forge an independent research career trajectory at academic institutions.
