NIDCR Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Transition Award for A Diverse Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research Workforce (F99/K00 Clinical Trial Not Allowed): The purpose of this award is to support phased transition of outstanding graduate students from groups underrepresented in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral and social sciences research enterprise from graduate work to postdoctoral research positions in Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial (DOC) research. The first phase (F99) will support the final two years of graduate research training for individuals in PhD or dual degree clinician scientist programs. Following graduation and attainment of a postdoctoral research position, the second phase (K00) will provide support for up to three years of mentored postdoctoral research.
