- Grant Description
- The Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is collaborating with the National Wildlife Refuge Association to further work and accomplish objectives of the Refuge System. Collaborative work will focus on organizing and delivering the 2011 Refuge System "Promises" conference; future national, regional and community conferences, workshops and training programs; preparing special reports on the Refuge System; organizing and coordinating awards and recognition programs, communications with community-level partners; providing expert speakers for workshops, training programs and events; and technical assistance and expertise to community-based "Friends" organizations and other partners interested in supporting the National Wildlife Refuge System.
