National Adult Protective Services Training Center: This funding opportunity will establish, by awarding one cooperative agreement, a National APS Training Center (NATC) to advance federal priorities to improve safety and well-being of those experiencing adult maltreatment by building the capacity of adult protective services professionals and improving the organizations that recruit, train, supervise, manage, and retain them. The NATC will complete a broad range of activities that promote promising and evidence-informed practice, support leadership development, improve agency culture and climate, and design and implement organizational interventions that address issues of worker recruitment, retention, and agency culture and climate. Through this initial opportunity, ACL plans to award one (1) cooperative agreement at approximately $1,500,000 per year, for up to two (2) years.
