- Grant Description
- Section 3045 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: a Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) established a National Fuel Cell Bus Technology Development Program (NFCBTDP). The NFCBTDP's goal is to facilitate the development of commercially viable fuel cell bus technology and related infrastructure. Up to three geographically diverse non-profit organizations and recipients (i.e. transit agencies) will be competitively selected under the program. Prospective applicants are requested to submit white papers as outlined in the announcement.
