Notice of Intent to Award-Nez Perce Tribal Youth Fisheries Employment Prograns: A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD is issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service "the Service" to the Nez Perce Tribe according to 505 DM 2.14 (4)(refer to the attached NOI justification located in the Full Announcement section of this opportunity). NO COMPETITION IS EXPECTED - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. The purpose of this agreement is to promote the Secretary of the Interiors Youth and the Great Outdoors initiative and associated emphasis on hiring of Tribal youth in natural resources management fields. The objective is to provide funding to the Nez Perce Tribe to support new and expanded opportunities for Tribal youth within the Columbia River Basin to gain experience in fisheries conservation and management.
