Additional Information on Eligibility: Applicants are limited to national organizations that may partner with other national organizations as subgrantees, including tribal, community, secular, and faith-based nonprofit organizations and federally-recognized Indian tribal governments.
Grant Description: This solicitation invites applicants to propose national initiatives that will support the development, maturation, and expansion of community programs to provide mentoring services to tribal youth populations on the reservations of federally-recognized tribes. The program will target tribal youth populations that are underserved due to location, shortage of mentors, emotional or behavioral challenges of the targeted youth, or other situations that the tribes identify. This program will be authorized by an act appropriating funds for the Department of Justice.
