Additional Information on Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for funding under this program, the applicant must be a tax-exempt nonprofit (501(c)(3)), or other non-profit or for-profit entity or firm. For-profit institutions are not allowed to earn a fee. Colleges and Universities are also eligible to apply. National and local parent groups are encouraged to apply. States and units of general local government and their departments are not eligible.
