Region 9 Fiscal Year 2004 Regional Geographic Initiative (RGI) Funds for Clean Air Act Section 103 Projects: EPA Region 9 is requesting Initital Proposals (IPs) which address regional strategic priorites using Regional Geographic Initiative (RGI) funds. These grants or cooperative agreements support unique, geographically-based projects that fill critical gaps in the Agency's ability to protect human health and the environment. These projects should address places, sectors or innovative projects, and focus on the regional strategic priorities of Community Air Toxics or Air Quality. Projects should also demonstrate state, local and/or other stakeholder participation, and identify opportunities for leveraging other sources of funding. This is an initial solicitation. This assistance will be awarded through the Clean Air Act Section 103.
