Rheumatic Diseases Research Core Centers (P30): -The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) invites applications for research core centers (P30s) in rheumatic diseases. The Rheumatic Diseases Research Core Centers (RDCCs) will provide the resources for a number of established, currently funded investigators, often from different disciplines, to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to common research problems in rheumatic diseases and to ensure greater productivity than from each of the separate projects. -Up to 3 new and/or competing continuation grants are anticipated. -Up to $1.8 million in total costs (Direct costs plus Facilities and Administrative costs) may be awarded in support of this solicitation.

Additional Information on Eligibility
Foreign institutions are not eligible to apply. Eligible agencies of the Federal Government can apply. Any institution or consortium with an active program of excellence in both basic and clinical biomedical research in rheumatic diseases may qualify for support through a Core Center. Only one application may be submitted per institution.
