The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a financial assistance agreement to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The US Fish and Wildlife Service's Washington Fish and Wildlife Office and its partners recognize that we share responsibilities for managing sea otters and success is contingent on partnerships that cut across jurisdictions. Benefits of collaborative interagency efforts and partnerships for sea otters will be current population estimates, distribution, and trends, as well as improved conservation and management for this species. Projects must comply with all applicable Federal, State, Tribal, and Local regulations. All awards for assistance are subject to availability of funds. Questions should be addressed to: USFWS, Attn: Deanna Lynch, 510 Desmond Drive SE, Suite 102, Lacey, Washington 98503. 360-753-9545
