Standards Development Organization Collaboration to Enhance Standards Alignment, Testing, and Measurement: The purpose of this FOA is to establish a mechanism for ongoing collaboration among ONC and various SDOs. It aims to provide support to these organizations for standards and interoperability work within these organizationâÂÂs portfolios that is of mutual interest to ONC. This includes, but is not limited to, standards that involve clinical data exchange, such as those used for e-prescribing, public health reporting, âÂÂquery,â research, lab ordering and lab results; standards for transporting clinical health information; and standards used to represent clinical concepts in vocabularies, terminologies, and code sets. Additionally, it is anticipated that these ongoing cooperative relationships include specific work aimed at the range of different technical standards developed and maintained by these SDOs, how those standards align with other SDOâÂÂs work, and how to measure the use of published standards.
