Strengthening Public Health Systems and Services in Indian Country: CDC announces a new five-year cooperative agreement for eligible American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) federally recognized Tribes and/or regional tribally designated organizations. To be eligible for funding, an applicant must be in one of the following:Federally recognized AI/AN tribal governments (i.e., Tribes) must provide an official letter from a currently elected tribal leader or a tribal resolution to demonstrate support from the TribeRegional AI/AN tribally designated organizations must demonstrate support in the form of tribal resolutions or letters of support from currently elected tribal leaders from at least half of the Tribes within the organization's service areaOfficial email correspondence from elected leaders will be accepted. File should be named "Tribal Support" and uploaded as a PDF at www.grants.gov.Any application that does not include this documentation will be considered non-responsive and it will not receive further review.
