Additional Information on Eligibility: Eligible applicants that can apply for this funding opportunity are organizations that are funded through Funding Opportunity Number PS06-606, STD/HIV Prevention Training Center -Partner Services and Program Support component. Funding is limited to the STD/HIV Prevention Training Center -Partner Services and Program Support (PTC Part III) component recipients of Funding Opportunity Number PS06-606. These funds should assist in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of the STD Program Management course. No other applications are being solicited.
Grant Description: CDC's Procurement and Grants Office has published a funding opportunity announcement entitled, "Supplement for Implementing Training of the Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Program Management Course." Approximately $400,000 will be available in fiscal year 2009 to fund four awards. The purpose of this FOA is to implement training of the STD Program Management course in collaboration with the HHS/CDC/Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP), the National Council of STD Directors, state and local STD programs, and other STD prevention training partners and stakeholders.
